Retraction 17/10/2003 My earlier blog on the state of the Islands wasn't entirely fair. In retrospect that was day two and I was tired from almost two days of traveling. By the time I left the Perhentians I was reminded of all the things that brought me there: The lovely Malay people, the amazing diving/snorkeling and the massive diversity of life on the islands. They are quite a stunning place and I'm privileged to have been there twice. In fact I may make it three times next year as I have a great offer from Perhentian Pro Divers.
