Shanghai MotoGP Qualifying

The Doctor's working his magic again with a new lap record for Shanghai and pole position.
Hopkins is in second place! Goooo Hopo!
Edward's has a decent third place but the question with the Yamaha's is will the Michelin's be up to the job after their poor performance at Turkey? Let's hope so for Rossi's sake eh?
After a week where everyone seems to have been forecasting a Ducati walkover it's a bit of surprise to see Stoner on the second row and Capirossi way back (apparently he collided with Vermuelen on his flyer lap or he'd have done better. The Ducati's had an 8mph straight line speed advantage in qualifying so they'll definitely be up there in the race proper.
I wonder if Rossi's new pneumatic valved engine will help him see of the Ducatis?
Pedrosa and Melandri make up the rest of the second row.
Poor old Hayden's down in ninth behind De Puniet and Barros, man he's having a duff season!
The worst thing about the Shanghai MotoGP is I have to be up at 7:30 tomorrow to watch it!
