Damn .NET

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy developing with ASP.NET but the way that the server interprets the requesting user agent and feeds it content accordingly can be a huge pain in the ass. I spend all this time making my tableless layouts work with .NET and what's the first thing IIS/.NET does? It see's Firefox coming and says to itself "Oh that must be an old Netscape style browser, quick change those div's to tables" How infuriating and currently I don't know how to switch that off. So for you standards folks out there please understand that when this site doesn't validate or is layed out in tables, that it's because I'm fighting my development enviroment. But apart from this niggle I am pleased with my new system, so far it's working well.
