Sparx over at SMIDSY hit me with this (and called me a computer geek the cheeky bugger!). This wasn't actually very easy for me as I didn't read "proper" comic books as a kid. I read the Beano and stuff like that, as did all my generation, I was subscribed to "Warlord" (there's a bit of nostalgia for you Keef) and later in life I discovered 2000ad/Judge Dredd which rocked (still does too, last time I looked). But I never got into DC or Marvel stuff, they just didn't float my boat. Any of you lot ever read the "Sand Man" graphic novels series? They were very good but I didn't read them till I was maybe 23.
1/If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? (Assume you also get baseline superhero enhancements like moderately increased strength, endurance and agility.)
I think I'd have to go with "stoneskin". Completely normal looking skin that is impenetrable to weapons/fire/cutting etc. Why? Because it'd be cool!
2/ Which, if any, 'existing' superhero(es) do you fancy, and why?
Umm is Jessica Rabbit a super heroine? No? I guess Catwoman's got mojo...
3/Which, if any, 'existing' superhero(es) do you hate?
I'm really not very keen on Superman, that whole "I put glasses on and no one can recognise me" thing is daft quite frankly.
4/ What would your superhero name be? (No prefab porn-name formulas here, you have to make up the name you think you'd be proud to mask under.)
I don't know why but "Chainmail" seems like it would be a good name at this moment, I may look at this post later and wonder what on earth I was thinking.
5/ Is there an 'existing' superhero with whom you identify/whom you would like to be?
Spiderman's pretty groovy if that counts?
