Rhyme Time 04/01/2005 My morning has been spent in assembling a desk for this computer. Amazingly, all went without a hitch and I can now convert from my rather ramshackle affair of two small tables supporting monitor and keyboard to something actually designed for the task.It has meant that I have not been able to write anything today, however, but Harry reminded me of a little something that I wrote as long ago as 1968. This should keep the ball rolling for the moment - it is, after all, my one and only attempt at a poem that actually rhymes!PlantOh deep in thy vegetable heart of matterWhat humus thoughts grow thouTomorrow you feed on their rotting fleshThough they may pluck thee now

Harry Ack! He beats me again, dag-nabbit.
