Procrastination 02/12/2004 I will get back to the Journal shortly, I promise. The delay has been caused mainly through exhaustion but also because I approach a subject that I know will be extremely difficult to write about (without offending everyone in sight, that is). This morning, however, I was presented with a lighter subject that I should be able to cope with, even in my somewhat frazzled state. I allow myself the brief relaxation of this blog before starting it, very much aware that I must husband my resources before I eventually come to attempt The Big One.It is good that Mad mentioned the Pootle in one of his recent blogs (I would urge everyone to have a look at Mad's blog - it has something for everyone, now that he has accepted my suggestion that he talk about other things as well as all that webby technical stuff. Just click on the word "Blog" in the menu at the left). I am proud of all my kids and have no embarrassment in dragging them into the light in these pages. The Pootle, for instance, is a sportsman of great ability, being potentially a top rank footballer (soccer). As Mad has hinted at, the Pootle is also the finest Halo player I've ever seen (and I've seen them all).Sweet Boogie is not only beautiful, she is more talented and accomplished artistically than I was at her age. The fact that she now expresses a desire to write can only increase my adoration of her (if that were possible). As I think I mentioned elsewhere, the Journal began as (and continues to be) an email to my kids. It is only fitting that they be introduced to you all; in fact, I should have done so earlier.Right, back to work.
