Going, Going, Gone! 10/07/2005 I am taking a week off from the blog to go nosing around in East Oklahoma. Obviously, this is an unfortunate time to have a break from the point of view of the serialized story I have begun, but it can't be helped. It is possible but unlikely that I will have access to a computer during the coming week so there is a faint chance that Part 3 might appear at some time. I know myself too well to promise anything, however. In the meantime, you could look on this as a chance to catch up on previous posts! I have put them into categories to make it easier to find the ones you're interested in and this is included below. If you like short stories, for instance, have a browse through the Fiction section. The numbers relate to the post number in the Contents; it should be easy to find the one you want, therefore. So it's goodbye to the blogosphere for a few days. Enjoy yourselves and don't do anything I wouldn't do!Categories within the blog:Journal1 Going Away2 Lawton3 Food4 Futureshock and the Wild West5 Oklahoma Nights6 24 Hours from Tulsa7 Election Reflection8 The Black Hole Theory10 A Little White House12 Tumbleweeds and Turkeys16 A Question of Sport20 Pontification and a Vineyard32 A Musical Sandwich34 The Sea And Me37 Spiders, Man!39 Pine Forests and Bayous44 Jingoism80 The Incredible Disappearing Restaurant86 A Confluence of Rivers94 Apache, Comanche and Kiowa101 Bluegrass in Duncan108 Lawton Arts Festival119 Advertise That!Plus 5 American IdolsIncidentals (General Thoughts)11 Fool That I Am13 Landscapes14 Just Renewed My Artistic Licence...15 Procrastination17 An Invitation18 Failing to Win22 A Lazy Day23 Sometimes It Gets Like This24 Did I Hear You Say?25 Retraction33 Galveston, Oh Galveston36 Rhyme Time52 What's In A Name?53 Art55 A Poem (I Think)58 Specialism and Versatility70 The Apathy Blog77 Oklahoma Spring79 A Painting Blog81 A Musical Musing83 Yakkety-Yak95 A Rhyme in Time96 The Absolute Truth99 More on Landscapes104 England, My England109 A Lyrical Pondering112 Heroes120 Talking 'Bout My G-G-Generation121 Gecko124 The Indianapolis Grand Farce125 The Other Italian127 Science Fiction: The Movie128 Aruba130 Mad and the Pootle131 You Be The Judge...132 And Boogie Too!133 Burnt SiennaBlogging9 A Real Blog26 Is Blogging A Disease?41 Contents and Clarification48 A Tribute to "Hereunder"49 Oh, Blog It!51 Changes at Gone Away Towers59 Traffic Statistics61 A Nothing Blog63 The Pumpkin Blog85 The Great March Slump98 Another Day, Another Idea100 The Centennial Blog103 Both Worlds107 More Statistics!110 Riding the Rocket!113 The Pressure of the Blog115 A Mad Post118 Woodcuts122 A Blogger's LamentAfrican Memories27 Okay, I Admit I Had a Childhood28 Rufus Part 129 Rufus Part 230 Chimanimani40 Hymn to Hendrina42 Flying43 Whistler46 Gorongosa56 The Snake Park62 Thank You, Johnny, Wherever You Are74 Command Post Capture82 Name That Country105 Thunderstorms114 The Most Beautiful Place...Computing38 Sharp Readers and Firey Foxes45 Slay54 Halo73 Some Software SentimentsFiction50 Thermopylae57 The Box60 A Tale of Two Tailors64 A Very Parfit Knight 165 A Very Parfit Knight 266 A Very Parfit Knight 367 A Very Parfit Knight 468 A Very Parfit Knight 569 A Very Parfit Knight 671 Snowflakes76 Shameless Self Promotion78 Hitman's Sunday84 Raining Cats and Dogs87 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 188 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 289 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 390 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 491 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 592 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 693 Sir Gawain and the Dragon 797 The Phantom of the Blogosphere106 Boulderman111 The Goodbye Drive117 Svengali Comes Clean134 Accelerate - Part 1135 Accelerate - Part 2English Memories72 That Kid With Red Hair75 The Cat of a Thousand Names116 A Place Apart123 Joe the Giant126 Factory Tales 1129 Factory Tales 2
